Professional development to enhance global citizenship & leadership education


As part of our partnership with UTS, we are offering Teacher Professional Development workshops exclusively for UTS partner schools.

Our professional development workshops for teachers draw on over 30 years of research and 12 years of experience working with 165,000 high school students to develop the motivation, skills and confidence to be effective global citizens and leaders. 

The current suite of workshops available to UTS partner schools are:

  • Project Based Learning: Developing Leadership Skills through Social Action Projects

                                                                                                In NSW High Resolves is endorsed to provide NESA Registered Professional Development for teachers accredited at Proficient Teacher.

Videos for Change: Creating Compelling Videos for Positive Social Change

High Resolve's national Videos for Change challenge is a powerful opportunity for your students to create and be heard while leading social change.  Students from Years 7-12 are challenged to submit a one minute video on a social issue they feel passionate about, with the chance to be featured on Network TEN's The Project and receive a share of prizes worth over $10,000!

This workshop will provide you with the knowledge, skills and practical resources to help students create compelling videos that can raise awareness of a social issue that matters to them. Please note this is not a technical film-making workshop and is designed to assist you to enable your students to create a powerful video narrative without recourse to expensive film-making equipment.

Project Based Learning:
Developing Leadership Skills through Social Action Projects

Do you want to create a unique leadership opportunity for students? Gain a framework and practical resources to facilitate student-led social action projects.

This workshop will provide you with the knowledge, skills and practical resources to facilitate student-led social action projects. We have facilitated hundreds of student-led projects and will share our model to help develop students into the leaders of tomorrow.
