Social Action Projects
School and community action projects are a critical component of the two-year Global Leadership Program. Students hone the skills they have been learning as part of the High Resolves experience by engaging in real-world social action projects. To assist their efficacy, they are introduced to frameworks for organising and leading projects and also for driving social change.

Target Mindset
•understanding that leadership can best be developed through cycles of action and reflection in service to others
Target Skills
•examine ideas critically and systematically to determine their validity and value
•evaluate leaders to determine the traits and attributes that contribute to their successful leadership
•take disciplined and systematic action to address a social need
•reflect on action in light of goals, achievements and potential improvements and articulate findings to relevant stakeholders

In Year 10, students identify a social need and conduct a social action project that creates a positive impact for the wider community (i.e. local, national or global).
